Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at DJ Gear Lab. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we are here to help.

1 Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.
The item must be in its original packaging, including all manuals, cables, accessories, and promotional items.
A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all return processing.

2 Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned due to health, safety, or software licensing restrictions:

  • Software & Digital Downloads: Any downloadable software, plug-ins, or registration codes once exposed or activated.
  • Consumables: Styli/needles, fluid for fog machines, and cleaning kits that have been opened.
  • Custom/Special Orders: Items explicitly marked as non-returnable or custom-built at the time of purchase.

3 Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.
We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies (typically 3–7 business days).

4 Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
For high-value DJ equipment, we highly recommend using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5 Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit or defective out of the box, please contact us immediately at [Insert Support Email] within 48 hours of delivery.
We will provide a prepaid shipping label for verified defective or damaged items and arrange a swift replacement or full refund.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
